Description DM2000030811:GCP:SOCIAL:NOV1955 - Riddle Of The Girl Who Came Back From Dead - A 12 year old girl African girl is the subject of South Afrca's greatest mystery story. She is Mavis Sithebe, of Newcastle, Natal, and everyone in the province is talking about the strange story of how she 'died' and then came back to life. The girl had been placed in the coffin on her back and her grandmohther, Mrs Sithebe, came along with a basin of water and a cloth and stopped, 'petrified', for Mavis had turned to lie on her stomach.
